GetMeHired Inc. is an online job hunting Bootcamp for international students and new immigrants in the USA
Job Search Support Includes:
No. GetMeHired Inc is not a staffing/consulting company. A staffing/consulting company hires a candidate and sends them to work at one of their clients as a corp-to-corp employee.
GetMeHired is an online job hunting Bootcamp for software developers. We train and help candidates find their next job through our online Bootcamp.
We don't hold the employment contract.
We do not directly offer sponsorships as we are not a consulting/staffing company. We provide immigration support and advice to help candidates negotiate sponsorships with their employers.
We also introduce candidates to recruiters who are known to sponsor a visa for candidates. Since we operate on an Income Share Agreement with the candidate, our interests are aligned to help the candidate stay gainfully employed in the USA or Canada.
GetMeHired Pro Bootcamp is 12 weeks long. However, we continue to provide mock interview and job search support even after the 12 week period until the Income Share Agreement is concluded. Since we operate on an Income Share Agreement with the candidate, it is in our best interest to help them stay employed or find new jobs if they are laid off or fired.
There is no upfront cost for the candidate for the GetMeHired Pro Bootcamp program.
Candidates sign an ISA with a maximum repayment amount of $9,999 USD. The amount is payable monthly as 10% of the salary when the candidate lands his/her next job that pays >$50K USD per year. In the event a candidate is laid-off, payments are paused until their salary is again >50K.
Candidates never pay more than $9,999 USD in their lifetime.
Attached: Actual Terms from GetMeHired Pro's ISA Contract
Trial Period: GetMeHired Pro candidates get to try out the Bootcamp for 1 week before the contract signature is due.
GetMeHired Pro candidates get to try out the Bootcamp for 1 week before the contract is due for execution.
Here's our drop-out policy in detail from the actual contract.
An income share agreement (or ISA) is a financial structure in which an individual or organization provides something of value to a recipient who, in exchange, agrees to pay back a percentage of their income for a fixed number of years, up to a maximum total payable amount.
ISAs have gained prominence as an alternative to the traditional student loan system in North American higher education, and a number of private companies now offer ISAs for a variety of purposes, including as a funding source for college tuition
Once a candidate finishes all the onboarding assignments for the full-stack development track, they get an opportunity to volunteer as a Fullstack Developer in the GetMeHired Learning Management System (LMS) team and contribute to the live product development efforts.
This experience allows them to contribute to a live product and highlight it during their subsequent job interviews. Also, by working in a team with experienced engineers while following industry-standard software development practices helps the candidate find confidence in their technical and communication abilities.
The candidate can drop out if they get a job that pays >$50K/Year within the first 4 weeks of their orientation date. In such a case, the contract will be voided and the candidate does not have to pay anything.
Trial Period: GetMeHired Pro candidates get to try out the Bootcamp for 1 week before the contract signature is due. After the 1 week trial period, the Income Share Agreement will be effective based on the following schedule.
Since we are not a staffing/consulting company, we mentor, train and push candidates to get the best offer, whichever source that may come from—it could be direct hires to reputed companies (e.g. Google, Amazon, etc) or through our network of reputable staffing companies who hire based on projects at other large companies.
